Veia our first and only girly netKar Pro demo driver (my doughter) have spontan make part of some short fantasy storry competition in time of china history about 15th centery.
She is come in the first ten competitiors and need some more coments and likes to come further.
Please feel free to make some coments, because her storry is very fine and good wroten, even in german. It would be very nice and helpfull. I am very proud of her and she is sooo exciting and happy! It is storry nr. 5
You can coment also in english.

nKservertool doesn't ask for password

Hello, I have a problem with nKservertool.

I can setup the server with a password.
I see the server in the lobby.
I can log in to the server, but when I log in it doesn't ask for the password. And when I'm on the server it says "sesion is closed to new drivers"and I get kicked out.

Ports are forwarded to the race pc, windows firewall gave permision and my firusscanner isn't interfering.

As you al know i haven't driven nKPRo for a while but that doesn't mean I am not racing.
I tried 2/2,5 years back Track Mania and at first it was nice but nothing compared to nKPRo.
But when I stoped with netkar I drove TM more and more and really enjoyed it and even joined a team where I drive now for over a year.
But when a new GPC season starts I probaly will be here again.

rFactor - Porsche Carrera Cup Mod

I have watch this real racing series Porsche Carrera Cup last week on Red Bull racing (A1 Ring) circuit in Austria and ask my self how it would feels to driwe it on some other sim that last sunday with our F2000 cars!

I have try some mods on GTR2 and find it to bad unrealistic, but find that with rFactor v. 1.255 and with the Porsche Carrera Cup 2007 Mod is the best response and feel ever!
I seted all drive helps off, except ABS on low ( IMO withot ABS helps its unreal glitchy and could not break stable at right points for all times!)! AI strenght on 108% and 19 laps at on real races!

Wow, what a amazing driving feeling! I had many fun!
I had never such interisting and amazing sim reace! It was not easy to win, all the time fight to hold the first place untill to the end of race! I will try it next time with AI on 110% and maybe with Nordschleife!
The KI was very good on 50% agresivity and didnt hit me or something.
Very good sound, good cocpit view with noises, vibrations as almost real, good FF effects and responce! And the important thing is the amazing track realisation! I have download it from rFactor central!

In comparison with thew nK Pro version it is much better textured and you feel the bumps and hills as real!
This pics can not show the right look, but even shows the fine optik!

Little racing track in my garden

I am intend to build for my both kids a little Kyosho miniZ Racer real racing track , so they can race with 2-4 little RC cars with friends ...(and dady!)

Have maybe enybody a idea for some good track layout? I need some Herman Thielke designer!!
The track should be 6,7m long and about 4m squer. The track it self would be about 0,5m squer with some little PVC fence on both side for easy driving and to let space for overtaking!
Here the first layout from skratch:

The mini Z racers are modern digital radio controled remote cars in 1 :24 scale! Cars are 175mm long and 77mm squer!! There are avalaible hundreds of diferent car bodies and parts!

I have one of them (older, good for safty car! ) with DTM Mercedes and Ferrari F40 changebull bodies and this car is about 30km/h fast with full proportional steering and throttle control and reverse/brake!
They have springs on both axis and powered with LIPO batteries!

I think the kids would have with 4 racing cars, one saftycar and one cleaning sweep-mashine for the track before racing a nice racing toy with posibility to build some mini world with trees, buildings, similar as on some train landscapes inside the rooms.

The cars should drive oposite cklockwise way, so the first corner is a hairpin!
Maybe a good idea is to make after the hairpin some infield corners to make the whole track a bit more dificulter or some conbination? I am afraid the kids would lost a fun soon with just a "triangle layout" or some speedway track. On the other side we would lost space for some trees and buildings for nice optic!
There should be a box to change batteries and repairs. In the future I will buy a laptop controled system with lap counters, lap times and grid management and results after a race, if the kids wants more and have lot of fun! The cars have installed some radio controled channel sensors to send diferent signals to recognize cars from it self! Nice stuff!

The whole thing we would safe aftre the fun from rain with some markise/rolo like roof plane!

donnington cd-check

Hi there. I have a problem with the cd-check of Donnington Park GP track.
I do own a legal copy of GT Legends. But sinde it is not the retail version (it was on the dvd of a german Games magazine "Computer bild Spiele") the cd-check obviously does not recognice the cd.
i would really love to drive this track. if anybody could help me i would apreciate it.

And just to make a liar of my own thread title, I saw an interesting story on GP Update where Lewis Hamilton had some pretty interesting, and very critical, things to say about the 2010 (2009?) McLaren:

“The 2009 car was terrible because it was hopping, three-wheeling through corners, it was locking up and it had no downforce."

I think he meant the 2010 car, but maybe not....
