As you know, Zoltan have some more hobbies! Its maybe time to offer it to you! Just in case you will not miss enyting!Big Grin

For now my old passion:
Radio controled modelairplains! But not as usual! This time with a little video cam on it! The pity is that on end of the flyght the whole thing crashed to the earth! Reason: A real military german helicopter flyed in the same time in some near and make some radioblockades! I lost the control of my motorglider and whaaam! But in the prepare with a dummy cam! (we tested it before with a wood dummy cam, would it fly!), it was everything oK!

We called it:

Fly and die projekt! Big Grin

Here some pics:

Here a dowloadlink from the flyght:

Enjoy! Very exiting thing!
We plan to do a next video record with a bigger and more stable depron airplain with about 4-5meters wingspan and without miltary enfluence! (hope!) Tongue
Ahh, so that's what the FSX flying is for? Tongue
Nice flying btw, nice scenery too Smile
very nice Zoltan Smile
Unfortunately I cannot view the video on my laptop Sad

But I've read somewhere in the past about someone (in US) who posted a similar thing on the web before. I don't know where exactly, but it got taken down by authorities and marked as "terrorist sensitive" or something similar. The ironic part was that the take down caused a lot of media attention while it was just some hobby video.

Guess that's one of the reasons they have RF-jammers on board on military airvehicles.

Anyway, I think it's way exaggerated. Will try to watch you video at my home pc!

So thats why the real german military helicopter was flying around and let my RC modelairplayin crashed! To avoid terrorist attack and make videos from "up"!?! Big Grin

Did you saw finaly the video Arthur?Rolleyes
I just watched your video Zoltan.

Did the camera survive? Seems it crashed quite hard and I guess you had to walk a distance to retrieve it back!
Quite happy I'm not on such airplane, way too much movement for my liking Smile

Glad that you saw it Lucas!
No, the cam did not survive this crash! But a friend of me had repair it for me! Next time I try to use one with better white and light balance!
And i will save it better with some "Airbags"!Big Grin
The distance to find the incident place was about 200meters far away! And I intend to use a bigger plain with auto gyro stabilsers to make the whole record more stable! I will report it again!

P.S. Tell me if you are ready for more "crazy hobbies"!?Big Grin

VERY interesting Zoltan. Big Grin

Auto gyro stabilizers! 4 - 5 metre wingspans! Wow!
Something like that here:

A Depron ( similar as Styropor!) Piper PA J 18 with 4,7 meters wingspan! People says it fly like a Zeppelin slow and quiet! Wow, thats best for cam recording!
4.7m that's huge. That can almost carry a small kid? Smile
