You are welcome Andy! Enything you want, just ask!Wink

I am happy to hear that you decide to be a "simpilot" to!Big Grin
Also good choice with your new joystick! Cheap but good!

For now unprompted Big Grin the begin:

1. Lesson: set two knobs on your joystick up trim and down trim! You will need it very often!I have set above knob for up trim, lower knob for down trim!

2. Lesson: If your joystick is to soft in gear and roll axis, try to make it "stiffer" like me! I have a Saitek X52, its too soft! Put inside the joystick-spring a "damper" from a sponge material! (german= Moosgummi!) It helped amazingly! Its some kind natural movements then! If you move more to the side or forward it become more and more stiffer! As I have fly often a real Robin and 172 Cessnas I know what I am talking about! Up than my controls are more precise and its very smooth to land! Even to point at the target in Lock On!

3. Lesson: Try to absolve first the flying scool in FSX! Take first the propp mashines! And progress to the chalanges more and more!

Good luck and have fun!Winktongue

Ike

Haven't even used my new joystick yet - but I'm off next week so I might get sucked into the vortex of FSX then. But I'm such a rookie that I think PNW would be wasted on me at this point. Doh

I'm skint! (shouldn't have bought the Dodosim Bell 206*..but i just couldn't resist Winktongue) Hopefully by the time the DVD version is released I'll be ready to purchase. I prefer a nice boxed version anyway Smile

The free demo shouldn't be long, so ill have a little slice of PNW to try out soon.

*Dodosim Bell 206 http://www.dodosim.com/fsx206.html at last, a proper helicopter in Flight Sim. Great fight dynamics and system modelling. I'm addicted Smile
