Welcome to the lastplace.mini series!
During the last "winterbreak" between the GPC seasons 2006.2 and 2007.1 we organised the first occurence of the lastplace.mini series.
The series was limited to lastplace drivers only and was won by Phil Woodward. For a small seasonreport click here.
The second edition of the lastplace.mini series will be on an invitational basis and will feature 4 events.
Dates & venues
Events
The first three events of the series will feature a sprint race and a feature race. The sprint race length is around 15 minutes, and the feature race will be three times the sprint race distance.
Before the sprint race, a qualifying session will be held to determine the starting positions.
Just Like in the GP2 series and WTCC, the grid for the feature race will be determined by reversing the first 8 cars on grid as they finished the sprint race. So P8 in the sprint race will start on pole during the feature race.
The final event, taking place in Spa, will be a single endurance race. A qualifying session will set the starting grid. The length of the endurance race will be around 90 minutes.
Points
For the first 6 races the F1 style of points will be used, the points for the endurance race in parentheses.
P1: 10(15) points
P2: 8(12) points
P3: 6(9) points
P4: 5(8) points
P5: 4(6) points
P6: 3(5) points
P7: 2(3) points
P8: 1(2) point
Car
Since the 1.03 is keeping us waiting, the FTarget is still a bit unusable. The car for this league will be the Formula 2000.
Server
Lastplace has it's own server provided by Tjeerd Veenstra. During the event, the server will be password protected and will run netKar in Full mode
